I first thought of making this typeface during junior high, but only recently got to it. It is a geometric display face based around a circle, simple and rule based in the spirit of Paul Renner’s original futura sketches. Work in progress.

Client: Elabs AB
Agile development conference Nordic Ruby needed a logotype concept that could represent the Scandinavian countries as well as the ruby programming language. The result is a lowercase “r” in the shape of a stylized aurora borealis, which also became a background decor.
